November update: Heat pumps, dynamic drawing & video tip of the month

As the Government prepared for the 2021 annual budget, we saw numerous housing announcements and in particular how the housing market could be made better in regards to climate change and the emissions that we produce.

zPlan welcomes these new announcements, especially those about heat pumps, but we understand the criticism by some to go further.  The Government has now announced that homeowners will be offered subsidies of £5,000 from April to help them move away from the reliance on gas boilers. 

As with all movements across the housing and green sector, we will always aim to keep in line with modern trends. Hence, we have already added additional heat pump icons to our software, including pipework, to be able to accurately reflect heat pumps on floor plans.
