February 2022 update: house price surge, National Energy Efficiency Award win and EPC integration
2022 has continued for us in the same fashion as 2021 and we’re pleased to see a significant increase in the number of plans being created by our users. Increases are also being seen across most of the property world…
Rightmove has announced that their recent data shows a record-breaking month-on-month increase in property asking prices. February saw the British housing market rise by a record 2.3% (£7,785) – this means house prices overall have risen to an all-time high, making the new average £348,804.
Rightmove’s director of property data, Tim Bannister states “We now have a group of movers who are looking to return closer to major cities, or at least within comfortable commuting distance.”, “High demand and a shortage of stock are supporting a rise in prices.” You can read more about this here.
With this being the case, it would appear the demand for property is still extremely high, which we hope continues to translate into more business for zPlan users.
zPlan takes Bronze at the National Energy Efficiency Awards
February also saw our team visit the National Energy Efficiency Awards after our nomination for “National Data & Software Company of the Year”. We are proud to say we came third in our category despite being up against some tough competition. zPlan believes that 2021 was a great year for both us and our software, so to be recognised for our services to the Energy Efficiency Industry felt very reinforcing.

EPC Integration has arrived!
We are very excited to announce that zPlan has been integrated into Quidos EPC software – Quidos is our sister company. zPlan now resides within the Quidos Mobile App as a tool for collecting data for EPCs. The beta version includes:
- Dimensional data (measurements, HLP, PW, corridor, etc)
- Low energy lighting data
- Habitable and heated habitable room data
- Draught proofing data
All Quidos accredited members are able to access this software for free (for the purpose of providing floor plan data for audit). With the click of a button, you can transport that plan over to your zPlan account to export for marketing. (Please note, you will not be able to export the plan without a zPlan account).
